HVAC Commissioning is frequently engaged by building contractors, building owners and prospective property buyers to assess and report on the condition, performance and operation of HVAC plant and equipment within existing buildings.

Our extensive industry knowledge and practical experience enable us to assess a wide range of environmental plant and equipment. Where further specialist investigation is required, we can identify and engage appropriate third-party specialists to provide additional technical expertise.

By assessing central plant under known operating conditions, we can conduct performance testing to establish system capacities and evaluate operational capabilities. Where appropriate, recorded data can also be analysed to calculate system performance and identify discrepancies between actual operation and expected requirements. These investigations help establish existing performance shortfalls and determine whether further testing or investigative work is necessary to identify underlying causes and system deficiencies.

HVAC Commissioning also has experience working with Building Management Systems (BMS), either by navigating the system directly or collaborating with the resident Controls Engineer. This allows us to assess whether the operation requested by the management system is being accurately executed by the plant and equipment in the field.
